Our Terms of Sale

Congratulations on your choice to purchase an Australian Miniature Goat.  We ask that you please consider your purchase carefully.  Miniature Goats, as with all other pets require a commitment from you to feed, water, shelter and care for their health and well-being.

Please read our terms carefully; a commitment from you to purchase will confirm that you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse to sell an animal/s or withdraw an animal/s from sale at our discretion and without explanation if we are not confident in the ability of a purchaser to treat the animal/s humanely or provide animal/s with adequate care.

We prefer that you come to our stud to view your mini goat “in person”.  If this is not possible we are happy to ready your goat for a carrier to pick up or alternatively we may be able to assist with delivery.

Please email us for delivery information and prices.

Kid goats can be carried in pet packs or securely tied in a station wagon, a covered trailer is acceptable for adult goats.

It is your responsibility to check with your local council about regulations for keeping a goat/s in your area.

We do not breed or knowingly sell miniature goats for human consumption.

We pride ourselves on the quality and soundness of our stock and all animals are offered for sale in the very best of health and have tested clear for Johnes and CAE.

We recommend you inspect the animal before purchase if at all possible.  We will do our best to provide you with information on parentage, heights, grades and provide photos, but any animals purchased site unseen is 100% at the buyers risk.  We can book a Veterinary inspection for interstate buyers if requested but all costs are the responsibility of the prospective buyer and must be paid in full prior to the vet check with no refund if the animal is not purchased.

A 40% (non-refundable) deposit is required within 2 days of your confirmation of purchase.  This is to hold your purchase.  These animals will be listed as “On Hold”.

Final/full payment must be received within two weeks after receipt of the deposit unless other arrangements have been made and agreed to by mutual agreement.

Deposit will be forfeited and animal/s will be re-listed for sale if final payment is not received in the specified time frame.

Once full payment is received animals will be considered “Sold” and we are happy to hold the goats for two weeks for free, allowing you time to prepare fencing, shedding or transport etc.  After that time an agistment fee of $2.50 per day per goat will apply to help cover feed costs.

Goats will not depart our stud unless full payment has been received – no exceptions.

We will NOT under any circumstances accept personal cheques for purchase/s.  Direct Debit is acceptable but please note that direct debits must be cleared and seen in our account before goats leave the stud/s.  This can take up to 2 days from deposit.  Cash at pick up or delivery is also acceptable.

Whilst all care will be taken, all animals paid for, but left at our stud awaiting pick up or under agistment terms are the Purchasers responsibility.  If you require any livestock insurance in these circumstances it is your responsibility to arrange this.

Illness and injury after 7 days of pickup “is not” the responsibility of our Stud.  We are not able to control their environment and feed intake once an animal has left our care.  We are happy to try and assist you with any problems that might arise, please contact us immediately if you have an issue.

We offer a replacement to the same value of the purchase price - only if the animal purchased is proven to have a genetic or medical problem we should of picked up on.  A veterinary certificate is required. We will not refund if you simply change your mind.

The Purchaser is responsible for all transportation expenses in all circumstances including any exchanges.

Should your circumstances change for any reason, we are more than willing to help you re-home your animal.  Please let us know if you have any difficulties keeping your miniature goat.

If requested and on purchasing a breeding age doe/s we can offer you an opportunity to have her serviced by one of our adult bucks.  Does must be paid for in full before meeting the buck.  No agistment fees will be charged under these circumstances but a service fee will apply.

When your kid doe has grown to physical maturity and provided you have a current (within the last 12 months) CAE & Johnes clear test, we can also offer stud mating services for a fee and as above agistment fees will not be charged.

We offer after sales assistance to anyone who purchases our goats and will happily give advice to anyone else who needs it.

You will never be left high and dry wondering what to do.

We hope you enjoy your new found hobby and miniature goat friend/s.
